hello! its been a lil bit, right?

i've been hard at work adding stuff to this new version of goober island, and i have an official release date for it! more on that in a lil. first of all, the games "core" is basically complete. "core" as in multiplayer code, and stuff like that. all i need to finish is the island generation, which is gonna take the bulk of my time till release!

there's more that i can do, like add more cosmetics, more interact-able things, and finish up the tutorial. speaking of tutorial, its very early, and probably wont be in this update, BUT next update should add it in. i want to focus on having an actual island instead of a tutorial, since well.. why is it called goober island if there isn't a island in the game! 

as miyamoto from nintendo once said:
"a rushed game is probably rushed, and a not rushed game.. probably isn't"

if you haven't seen yet, i'm making it so you can commision a custom ingame cosmetic for only 1 dollar if you wanna check it out! on topic about cosmetics, certain cosmetics do certain things. no comment on the things they do tho.

this update should come with controller support, so now you can technically fully play on a TCL - 40" Class Q3K Series 1080P FHD QLED Smart TV with Google TV (2025).

vr support comes either this update, or when ever i get a new headset, since my vr headset kicked the bucket a while back, so i can't really play test. vr mode wont be to full fledged, but i will make stuff work differently in vr, like grabbables :D

so yeah! thats about it! this update will release on THANKSGIVING!
